Retained Independent Board Assurance
Ongoing independent assurance cadence for the board or sponsor of a material transformation.
Onboarding produces an assurance baseline. Steady state provides a regular independent cadence. Independence of the assurance line is maintained even if Progressive Grounds also holds other relationships — conflicts are declared and managed.
The outcome
A continuing independent view the board can rely on without Progressive Grounds owning delivery.

- Decision challenge at material gates

- Escalation of material concerns
Boundary. Does not replace the programme director or SI. Findings are not softened for political convenience. Any actual or potential conflict is declared at the outset.
Next step. Often follows a Health Review or Recovery Review. Can run alongside Fractional CIO work only with explicit safeguards and board consent.
